We, the undersigned, believe that it is wrong and inhumane to keep Norman captive in chains, even though it may be argued that it is for his own good, and keeps him from falling into the wrong hands. His incarceration contravenes the human rights act under
Article 4: Prohibition of slavery and forced labour
Article 5: Right to liberty and security
Article 6: Right to a fair trial
Article 12: Right to marry
We demand that Norman be allowed to live a life equal to those of his fellow gnomes and ask on the GOVERNMENT to act to pass a law regarding the PROTECTION of GNOMES.

How about a law requiring gnomes to be allowed to wear normal clothes, rather than the goofy ones they're currently forced to wear?
The only way to ensure the continuation of Gnomes is to keep Norman in captivity and introduce a breeding regime (at night of course) until they no longer need to be a protected species.

It is not normal for us gnomes to be in chains. I would love to meet you as I have been searching for a handsome gnome such as yourself and would like to go out with you if you were allowed, but maybe I will come round at night........
